At the heart of Scotland, Glasgow is undoubtedly one of Europe’s most dynamic cities: steeped in culture, rich in history, with its elegant streets, squares, parks and gardens.

Glasgow has the finest civic arts collection in the UK, including the works of Botticelli, Degas, Van Gogh and Rembrandt to whet your appetite.  There are 27 museums in the city and all are free to visitors.

Glasgow was the first UK city to be a Cultural Capital of Europe and is home to Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.  As Scotland’s cultural and shopping capital, Glasgow benefits from a vibrant city centre with over 800 restaurant and bars.

Glasgow International Airport has direct flights from Europe, the Middle East and North America and has frequent connections to the international hubs of Heathrow, Gatwick and Amsterdam Schipol.  Edinburgh Airport is also easily accessible.  Glasgow Prestwick Airport is approximately one hour from Glasgow and offers a range of low cost flight options from Europe.  Click here for more information on travel to Glasgow.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, which links Glasgow to the rest of the UK.  Glasgow Queen Street Station is less than a mile away from the Hilton.  There is a comprehensive public transport network around the city.  If you choose to drive, there is an onsite car park available at a charge.
